Norridgewock Landslide

Norridgewock, Maine

Summit evaluated recent landslide activity for a portion of the Sandy River Road in Norridgewock, Maine.  The landslide was located within a portion of the Sandy River Road adjacent to the Sandy River.  In general, the slope had an approximate height of 20 to 30 feet with portions of near vertical inclination.  Stabilization included relocation of a portion of the Sandy River Road and slope stabilization utilizing slope grading and riprap stabilization.
