SGS is a small, diverse, close-knit group of engineers, drillers, and office staff. You will work on a wide variety of technical problems, learning from senior staff as well as directly from the owners of the company. There are in-house seminars, conferences, and tuition reimbursements to complement the on-the-job life-long learning at SGS.

Typically, an engineer works on a project from start to finish, including communications with the client and logging the field work. Engineers work both individually and collaboratively, with plenty of opportunity to bounce ideas off each other. Having our own drilling staff means you will work with a drill crew who are equally committed to the outcome of the project. We embrace new technologies and encourage new team members to bring what they’ve learned to the group.

Schedules can be flexible to meet the needs of appointments and family. There is time set aside for social events, sometimes with just the employees and sometimes including our families.
