- Geotechnical challenges included deep marine deposits (soft clay)
- The use of CPT provided site specific shear wave velocity testing for improved earthquake seismic design and detailed profiling of the soft clay for estimating rate and time of consolidation settlement from imported site fill to achieve the necessary final grade for the site
